From under the gun, Lee Nelson opened to 48,000. Bjorn Li called on the button and Daniel Idema called from the big blind. The three players were then graced with the flop and action checked around to see the land on the turn. Idema bet 75,000 and both of his opponents folded.

We came to Table 28 with a raised pot being raked into the middle and Mohamad Kowssarie and Kenneth Wong taking to a flop.
Both players checked on the flop and the hit the turn. Wong made it 56,000 to see a river card and Kowssarie made the call as the hit the felt. This time Wong checked and Kowssarie bet 100,000. Wong made the call and sent his cards into the muck when Kowssarie tabled his .

From under the gun, Yann Dion raised to 40,000. Action then folded to the start-of-day short stack Phil Ivey in the big blind and he three-bet to what looked to be 140,000 as he slid out a tall stack of yellow T5,000 chips. Dion leaned forward and got a look at Ivey's stack, paused, then moved in.
Ivey called and put himself at risk.
Ivey tabled the , but was dominated by the for Dion. Ivey was going to need some help if he was to stay alive and double up here in the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event.
The flop came down all ducks with the landing. The turn was the and now Ivey needed a queen to win or an ace, eight or deuce for the chop. The river couldn't produce the help Ivey needed when the fell and Dion's king kicker held up.
Ivey shook Dion's hand, hopped up and was out of his chair in an instant. He'll collect A$100,000 for his efforts and we'll possibly be seeing him later on in the $250,000 Challenge.
But for now, just 11 players remain here in the Main Event and Dion has moved to over three million.
Karim Jomeen opened the play from under the gun and Bjorn Li quickly three-bet directly on his left. The rest of the table got out of the way, while Jomeen made the call.
Flop:
On the flop, Jomeen check-called a bet of 140,000 from Li and the was dealt on the turn. Jomeen again checked and Li quickly crashed a small stack of 50,000-denomination chips and a couple of 1,000-denomination chips onto the felt. The bet was 303,000 and it prompted Jomeen to go into the tank. In the end, Jomeen decided to get rid of his cards and sent the pot to Li.

The action was folded to Yann Dion on the button and he raised it up to 40,000. Only Kenneth Wong in the big blind made the call.
On the flop, Wong would lead out for 40,000. A call from Dion would see a repeat eight dealt on the turn, with the . Wong would continue his betting, throwing out 55,000. Dion instantly made the call and a completed the board.
Wong again led, this time for 92,000. Dion thought for a few moments before flicking his cards into the muck. The chip leader from the start of the day takes only a small hit to his stack, while Wong now found himself moving up the counts.

With the board of in the middle, Mile Krstanoski moved all in for 437,000 against 2006 Aussie Millions Main Event champion Lee Nelson. A few long minutes were spent in the tank by Nelson before he finally committed the chips to make the call. Here's what was revealed.

Both players had no pair, but were drawing. Nelson was open-ended and had the queen-high flush draw. Krstanoski had his flush draw pipped with his hand and a draw to Broadway as well. At the time the money went in, Krstanoski held the best of it with his ace high.
The dealer burned one last time and then dealt the on the river. It was a club and gave Krstanoski the winning hand with an ace-high flush. He doubled to around 1.5 million. Nelson dropped back under 900,000.

The cards are being dealt on Day 5 of the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event. There is 105 minutes of the current level left.
Level: 21
Blinds: 10,000/20,000
Ante: 3,000
It all started six days ago and now here we are on Day 5 of the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event, with only 12 players returning to the felt with a chance at making poker history. Who's the player with the best chance at making history, you ask? Well that would be Yann Dion, with the Canadian returning as a clear chip leader.
There were 26 players still in with a chance yesterday, but of course, they can't all be winners and that number was dwindled down to the two tables of six who will return today. Trailing Dion with a large chip stack is Bjorn Li, while Mohamad Kowssarie and Karim Jomeen round out the players who will return with chip stacks in excess of 2,000,000.
Taking to the felt today with plenty of chips to scare and a poker resume that frightens is Dion's fellow Canadian, Daniel Idema. No stranger to poker on the big stage, Idema took down the $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship at the 2011 WSOP.
Another player who knows what it takes to win big poker tournaments is Lee Nelson and he will return with the 6th biggest chip stack. Nelson won this very tournament in 2006 and with his nickname being "Final Table", there is no doubt he will be looking to uphold that moniker.
It seems to be Oliver Speidel who is the hungriest for a title at this year's Aussie Millions, with the Australian already making two final tables in the last couple of weeks. An amazing effort to even make it this far, Speidel will be looking to add another final table to his resume.
While he may be returning with the shortest chip stack, he is definitely the player that all the railbirds will be watching. Phil Ivey needs no introduction and thus this paragraph will end here and we will now show you the Day 5 table draw.
