Unfortunately we missed the action up until the river, but what we did catch was a board showing and Mohamad Kowssarie going toe-to-toe in a pot.
It was on Dion and he checked to Kowssarie who was on the button. Kowssarie then slid out 375,000 and Dion thought for quite some time before making the call. As soon as Dion's chips were in the middle, Kowssarie had tabled his for a flopped flush, which was enough to send Dion's cards into the muck
Daniel Idema was under the gun when he opened to 60,000. Oliver Speidel then three-bet to 190,000 from the cut-off seat and it was back on Idema.
This is when Idema spoke up, announcing his bet as 475,000. Speidel didn't want to rumble with Idema and sent his cards into the muck as Idema moves over 3,000,000.
These players don't seem to be sitting back at all at this unofficial final table. Normally, you see the players hold back and tighten up a bit knowing they have a shot at a major final table berth and also some time on television. Not too mention, there's a A$45,000 prize jump. Here, we've already seen signs of some early aggression.
On the first hand, Mile Krstanoski opened, Daniel Idema three-bet and then Krstanoski came back with a four-bet to win the pot preflop. A couple hands later, Krstanoski three-bet to 170,000 from middle position after Mohamad Kowssarie opened to 65,000 from early position.
Then, a couple hands later, Patrick Healy raised to 75,000 from the cutoff seat and Bjorn Li three-bet to 190,000 from the button. The blinds folded before Healy came back with a four-bet to 500,000. Li folded and Healy won the pot.
Lee Nelson has just been eliminated after making another amazing run in the Aussie Millions Main Event. Here's the last couple hands he played followed by his elimination hand.
From under the gun, Oliver Speidel raised and Nelson called out of the big blind. The two then checked the flop, the turn and the river. Nelson couldn't beat the for Speidel and mucked his hand.
On the next hand, Mile Krstanoski raised to 55,000 from the cutoff seat and Nelson moved all in over the top for 495,000 total from the small blind. Krstanoski gave it some thought, but eventually folded his hand.
On his final hand, the third hand in a row of this group, Nelson opened to 55,000 on the button before Speidel three-bet to 145,000 from the small blind. Action got back to Nelson, he took about a minute and then reraised all in for 590,000. Speidel called.

Speidel:
The flop came down and Nelson didn't find any help. The on the turn kept Speidel's eights in front and then the on the river completed the board. Speidel's straight to the eight was best and Nelson was eliminated. He finished in ninth place and earned himself A$125,000.
Yann Dion bet 70,000 on the flop and Patrick Healy called to see the land on the turn. Dion bet 180,000 and Healy raised to 450,000. Dion called. The river completed the board with the and both players checked.
Dion tabled the for a straight to the queen. Healy showed the and then mucked his hand.
Oliver Speidel is now sitting behind the largest stack in the room. When we got back to Table 31, there was a board showing and around 800,000 already in the pot in a hand between Mile Krstanoski and Oliver Speidel.
Krstanoski was first to act and he checked to Speidel who bet 600,000. Krstanoski looked pained as he decided what to do.
"I hope you have ace-jack," said Krstanoski as he pushed in enough chips to make the call. Speidel didn't have ace-jack. What he did have was for a rivered straight, which was enough to send Krstanoski's hand into the muck.
Action folded to Daniel Idema in the small blind and he raised to 55,000. Lee Nelson called from the big blind and the flop came down . Idema bet 75,000 and Nelson shoved in for around 500,000. Idema folded and Nelson won the pot.
