Ashley Mason - 4th Place
Ashley Mason - 4th Place

Ashley Mason moved all in for around 550,000 from under the gun. Billy Argyros was next to act on the button and readied himself to squeeze his cards.

"Give me a good hand," Argyros said to the poker gods.

"I call," Argyros immediately quipped upon looking at his cards.

The rest of the table folded and Argyros turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. It was a race against Mason's {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

Argyros put his electronic plush crocodile in the middle, which rolled around on the felt as the dealer spread out a {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds} board to the turn before pausing for effect.

Then the {k-Diamonds} hit the river and Mason was eliminated in 4th place for a $58,400 collect.

Handy One to Bowdy

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Bowdy Tolhopf has just taken down a very handy pot against Billy Argyros. The hand in question began with Tolhopf opening to 80,000 from under the gun. Billy Argyros called out of the big blind and [Removed:17] put int he extra chips from the big blind.

On the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, Argyros led for 80,000 and Yan folded. Tolhopf called and a {2-Hearts} hit the turn. This time Argyros bet 125,000 and Tolhopf again called. ON the {3-Spades} river, Argyros led for 100,000 and Tolhopf instantly raised it to 350,000.

"You can't be bluffing," said Argyros as he contemplated his decision.

Eventually he decided to let it go and sent the pot to Tolhopf.
