Rossi Adds Chips Again

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ferran Corominas opened to 200,000 with {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Cornelis de Jong came along from the small blind with the {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. De Jong checked the {9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and called a bet of 225,000 by Corominas.

The {8-Spades} turn and {7-Hearts} river were checked and Corominas claimed the pot with his pair of sixes.

Stefano Schiano opened to 180,000 with {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Gabriele Rossi called with {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} in the big blind. On a {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop, Rossi checked and Schiano's bet of 100,000 was called. There was no betting action on the {j-Hearts} turn and Rossi bet the {4-Spades} river for 405,000, Schiano folded in a heartbeat.

Ricardo Pinto

The action folded all the way to Ferran Corominas, and he open-shoved out of the small blind. Ricardo Pinto called all in for the last 495,000 to create the following showdown.

Ricardo Pinto: {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Ferran Corominas: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

A board of {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts} provided no help for Pinto and he has been eliminated in 6th place for €19,000.

Gabriele Rossi opened to 190,000 with the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Stefano Schiano called on the button with the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. On the {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, Rossi made it 175,000 to go and Schiano raised to 400,000. That ended the hand right there, as Rossi quickly folded.

Pinto Doubles Through Larsson; Doubles de Jong

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Cornelis de Jong
Cornelis de Jong

Kristian Larsson opened to 205,000 and Ricardo Pinto moved all in out of the big blind for 975,000. Larsson was sent into a world of pain and used two time banks before making the call.

Ricardo Pinto: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Kristian Larsson: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

On a {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs} board, Pinto went from short stack to second in chips.

Exactly one hand later, Cornelis de Jong raised to 190,000 and Pinto jammed out of the small blind. De Jong called swiftly and the cards were turned over.

Cornelis de Jong: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Ricardo Pinto: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Spades} flop gave both players a pair, however, de Jong also had the nut flush draw as well. The {5-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} on the river sent Pinto from hero back to almost zero as he had to fork over 1,495,000 to de Jong.

Larsson Three-Bet Schiano

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Stefano Schiano opened the button to 180,000 with {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Kristian Larsson in the small blind three-bet to 365,000 with the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Cornelis de Jong in the big blind folded the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Schiano also quickly folded.

One hand later, Schiano jammed the cutoff for 1,180,000 with {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and Larsson with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} on the button asked for a count. Larsson tank-folded and de Jong let go of {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, as did Gabriele Rossi in the big blind with {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Ricardo Pinto eventually played his first hand on the final table and open-shoved with the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} first to act. Ferran Corominas folded {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} in the big blind and Pinto claimed the pot.
