WSOP Paradise Parlay Gives Players Shot at $100K in Bahamas; Player Reactions
Table Of Contents
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise is a winter series held at the Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas. The series runs from December 3-14 and will feature 15 bracelet events across different variants with over $51 million in guarantees. PokerNews will be on hand to provide live coverage of the event, with photos, videos, and player interviews live from the tournament floor in The Bahamas.
On Monday, WSOP officials announced the “WSOP Paradise Parlay” by GGPoker, which is a chance for players that cashed in the 2023 WSOP to parlay their summer success into additional cash during 2023 WSOP Paradise.
It’s very simple – if a player earns 10 cashes between the two series, they will receive $5,000; if they make three final tables, they’ll get $25,000; and if they capture two bracelets, well then a hefty $100,000 additional prize awaits!
Here are the Terms and Conditions:
- Need to have at least 1 cash in 2023 WSOP and 1 in 2023 WSOP Paradise.
- All prizes are awarded by GGPoker and are to be redeemed at WSOP Paradise.
- 2023 WSOP Las Vegas LIVE bracelet events only.
- Prizes cannot be combined.
The WSOP has clarified that all WSOP Paradise Parlay bonus payments are marketing funds and independent of any prize pool.
Poker Community Loves It
Support for the WSOP’s new promotion was overwhelmingly positive.
“Had 9 live bracelet event cashes and 2 FT in those events this summer at WSOP,” 2004 WSOP runner-up David Williams wrote on X. “So one cash in Bahamas = 5k and one FT = 25k instead of the 5k? This correct! Wow if so. See ya there!”
Christian Harder added: “9 cashes and 2 FTs here damn now I’m looking at flights, good work GG and WSOP.”
2013 WSOP Main Event Champ Ryan Riess wrote: “Wow this is an incredible promotion for people who played a lot over the summer. Thanks @WSOP and @GGPoker for the added value. Much appreciated!”
PokerNews Strategy contributor and noted poker author/coach Jonathan Little said: “I am drawing pretty dead for this, but I LOVE seeing @WSOP / @GGPoker adding value for the grinders. See you in the Bahamas.”
Even Allen Kessler, who is a bit of stickler when it comes to promotions, was all about it.

Kessler followed it up with another post suggesting that the WSOP do the promotion in 2024 but expand it to apply to the WSOP, WSOP Europe, and WSOP Bahamas.
“Require 1 cash from each venue with similar or even higher incentives!” the Chainsaw suggested.
The promotion seems to be having the desired effect as several players have revealed that they’re now planning to make a trip to the Bahamas, including Dylan Weisman.
“Looks like I am going to be booking a last minute trip to Bahamas,” he wrote. “Have never been before. Any pro tips for the people out there? Is there a specific room type I want to avoid getting? Where do I wire money to? Any help would be greatly appreciated.”
Finally, reigning WSOP Main Event champ Daniel Weinman had just one question for WSOP officials – “Cmon, nothing for 2 main events?”
