WSOP Paradise

The inaugural World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise sees the famous tour head to The Bahamas for the first time in its long and illustrious history, with 15 gold bracelet-awarding events scheduled between December 3-14. The WSOP is guaranteeing $50 million across those 15 tournaments, including a bumper $15 million on the Main Event Championship.

Although the full satellite schedule is yet to be 100% confirmed, PokerNews has some details on the online and live satellites that are running right now or coming your way in the not-too-distant future.

WSOP Paradise OnLive at GGPoker

GGPoker is the go-to online poker site for non-US players thanks to its partnership with the WSOP. Currently, GGPoker is hosting a pair of WSOP Paradise OnLive events where you play an online edition of Day 1 before jetting off to The Bahamas for Day 2 with a min-cash in tow. Those two OnLive events are the $1,650 Mystery Millions and the $5,300 Main Event.

The OnLive Day 1s for the $1,650 Mystery Millions run each Sunday at 7:00 p.m. UK time. Each Day 1 concludes when only 10% of the field remains, with those Day 1 survivors progressing to Day 2. You can play as many Day 1s as you wish, but only your largest stack carries forward with you.

$20 Step satellites feed into the daily $200 satellites, giving everyone the chance to play in this exciting event.

An OnLive edition of the $5,300 Main Event shuffles up and deals at GGPoker on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. UK time. Like the OnLive Mystery Millions, you can enter as many Day 1s as your bankroll allows, but only your largest stack goes with you to The Bahamas. The curtain comes down on the OnLive Day 1s once the field has been reduced to only 15% of the flight's entrants.

Here's Your Chance to Win a WSOP Paradise Getaway to The Bahamas on GGPoker

With a $15 million guaranteed, the WSOP and GGPoker want as many bums on seats in the Main Event. That is why there are freerolls feeding into $6 Steps, which see players progress to $60 Steps. Make it through one of those, and you'll find yourself in the $525 daily satellites, which primarily run between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. UK time.

There are also WSOP Paradise Main Event satellites costing $525 every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. UK time. If $525 is outside the constraints of your bankroll, you may want to check out the $50 Step tournaments that feed into the main satellite.

So far, more than 130 GGPoker players have won a Road to Paradise $10,000 WSOP Main Event Package through the $1,200 satellites. They award their winners a $5,300 WSOP Paradise Main Event seat, 10-nights in a luxury hotel at Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, and a complimentary lunch buffet. Feeders costing $15 and $125 are available for the more budget-conscious grinder.

GGPoker Satellite to the $26,000 GGMillion$ High Roller Championship

Lastly, the $26,000 GGMillion$ High Roller Championship is going to attract some of the biggest names in poker, and you could be joining them from as little as $40. Every Thursday and twice on a Sunday, a $3,500 satellite runs for this humongous tournament. $400 Steps feed into the $3,500 satellite, with $40 Steps feeding into those. It would make for an epic story if someone manages to turn $40 into a $26,000 seat and the shot at a $5 million prize pool.
