The Western New York Poker Challenge (WNYPC) returns to the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino for eight action-packed events from April 6-16.

The festival kicks off in a grand way with the $200 No Limit Hold'em event with a huge $50,000 guarantee. Players start off with 30,000 in chips with blinds increasing every 30 minutes in four opening flights on April 6-7. Additionally, players can re-enter even if they bag chips and bring forth their best stack to start the final day on April 8 when blinds increase every 40 minutes.

The $1,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event with a generous $200,000 guaranteed prize pool kicks off a few days later with two opening flights on April 13-14.

Last year, 46-year-old heavy-duty truck salesman from Buffalo, New York Guy Klass outlasted a field of 267 entrants to win the trophy and the $47,016 top prize.

The tournament is a deep-stacked affair with players kicking off the action with 30,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 40 minutes. Similar to the opening event, players can play both flights even if they bag chips and bring forward their best stack.

Players bagging chips will enjoy an even deeper structure with blinds increasing every 60 minutes on Day 2 April 15 before moving to even longer 90-minute blind levels for the final table on April 16.

The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be on hand to cover both of these events, along with a pair of $120 No Limit Hold'em events with $10,000 guaranteed prize pools on April 10 and April 11 and the $300 Pot Limit Omaha event with a $15,000 guarantee on April 12.
