Ultimate Poker to Serve as the Online Poker Room for Peppermill Resort Spa Casino
A joint marketing partnership announced Thursday will see Ultimate Gaming, America’s first regulated online gaming operator, provide online poker service for Peppermill Resort Spa Casino and its four additional Nevada properties.
“We are very excited about this partnership as it gives us the opportunity to bring our online poker product to the Northern Nevada market through Peppermill’s extensive customer database,” remarked Ultimate Gaming Chief Executive Officer Tobin Prior.
In addition to Reno’s premier AAA Four-Diamond resort, the Peppermill owns the Western Village Inn & Casino and Rainbow Hotel Casino in Sparks, as well as the Peppermill Hotel Casino and Montego Bay Hotel Casino in Wendover. The deal, which is pending approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Nevada Gaming Commission, will allow for players to deposit and cash out at any of Peppermill’s Nevada locations, much like Ultimate Poker players can do at Station-owned casinos.
“It is great to be able to offer our players an exciting and secure online poker product from a trusted partner like Ultimate Gaming,” remarked Billy Paganetti, General Manager of Peppermill’s Northern Nevada locations.
Ultimate Gaming, headquartered in Las Vegas, acquired CyberArts in 2011 and became the first site to deal a legal hand of online poker two years later. Since then Ultimate Poker, a majority-owned subsidiary of Station Casino LLC, has continued to promote their brand with partner, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and by building a pro team that includes Jason Somerville, who recently spoke about his sponsorship with PokerNews; the recently-signed Danielle Andersen; and all-time money winner Antonio Esfandiari.
“I love playing at Peppermill, and it’s great to know that I can now deposit and cash out of my Ultimate Poker account when I’m there,” remarked Esfandiari, who recently launched a six-part web series called “Strip Magic" that features "The Magician" performing street magic on the Las Vegas strips.
The marketing partnership does not create a fourth online poker site in Nevada, which currently hosts Ultimate Poker, WSOP.com and South Point's Real Gaming.
