Sky Poker Looks to Attract News Players with Major Software Upgrade
Sky Poker, part of the UK pay-television BSkyB’s online gaming subsidiary Sky Betting and Gaming, recently implemented a software upgrade in the hopes of attracting new players. Among the more than 20 upgraded features are re-sizeable tables and preferred seating.
“We’ve completely redesigned the tables to make everything look clearer, sharper and even easier for you to use,” the Sky Poker site states. “It’s even easier to immerse yourself in the action with fully resizable tables, meaning you can play full screen or play with your own customized layout.”
Among the many upgrades are:
- Dynamic Tiling
- Auto-Focus
- Preferred Seating
- Auto Top-Up
- Dynamic Design
- Seat Rotation
- Mini View Option
- Using Quick Bet Buttons
- Using Notes
- Player Location
While new, the upgrades have already resonated with players. "Sky have been talking about software improvements for some time. So glad to see it has finally arrived and with a fresh professional feel,” Anthony from Stroud said. “This is a major step forward and I look forward to playing many more hands on this website.”
In recognition of the upgrade, Sky Poker is awarding double reward points in 6-Max cash games and Sit & Go tournaments for the first week of December. From December 9-15, Sky Poker will also double the guarantees on all their 8:00 p.m. Main Event tournaments.
