Foremost among them in terms of chip count is Canadian Santiago Plante, who has an impressive stack of 3,025,000. He will be joined near the top of the counts by Carl Shaw (2,200,000), Mathias Duarte (2,115,000), and Ka Kwan Lau (2,110,000).
While those players are in the best position to advance to Day 5, accomplished players like Boris Kolev (1,220,000), Thomas Boivin (1,200,000), PokerStars Ambassador Andre Akkari, as well as PokerStars Power Path Gold Pass Winner Paul Jurcuta (700,000) are also still in the hunt so it's sure to be a contentious day here on Day 4.

Mircea Flutur opened to 30,000 and was called by Daniel Smiljkovic in the big blind.
Smiljkovic check-called a 20,000 bet from Flutur on the A♣7♠3♥ flop and then both players checked on the 7♥ turn.
The 6♥ completed the board and Smiljkovic overbet the pot for 135,000. Flutur laid his hand down and Smiljkovic chipped up early.

Robin Ylitalo opened 30,000 in the cutoff and Maksim Vaskresenski called on the button, as did Pedro Lopes from the big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of A♥Q♣5♦, and Lopes checked before Ylitalo continued for 30,000. Vaskresenski called, but Lopes got out of the way.
The 9♣ turn and 7♣ river were checked down by both players and Ylitalo rolled his A♦6♦ face up, flopping top pair. Vaskresenski mucked his hand and the dealer pushed the pot to Ylitalo.

Ramin Hajiyev opened to 35,000 from early position and was called by Khazret Nebezhev seated on his left in the hijack, by Alessandro Pichierri in the cutoff, and Frank Lagodich in the big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of 4♥7♠A♣, where Hajiyev made a continuation bet of 45,000. But Nebezhev decided to three-bet to 115,000. Pichierri and Lagodich folded, but Hajiyev called.
The 3♠ came on the turn, and Nebezov fired a second barrel of 95,000. Hajiyev check-called. There was no more action on the river K♠ as both players checked.
Hajiyev revealed A♦K♦. Nebezov made a face, and eventually folded.

Action was heads up with over 150,000 in the middle and a full board of 6♦3♣2♠A♦J♥ when Mathias Duarte checked and Pedro Lopes bet 45,000. Duarte counted out a raise and made it 275,000, but that was too much and Lopes gave it up without a showdown.

When the K♠Q♣J♠ flop hit the felt, Fournier checked to Marcus who continued for 140,000. Fournier paused for about 10 seconds and pitched his cards into the muck.
