Victor Choupeaux Eliminated in 9th Place ($22,785)

Victor Choupeaux
Victor Choupeaux

Level 31 (100,000/200,000/200,000)

Victor Choupeaux raised to 500,000 under the gun and Luke Blindert responded with a three-bet to 1.5 million from the button. Both blinds folded, Choupeaux moved in for 4.45 million total, and Blindert quickly called.

Victor Choupeaux: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Luke Blindert: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

It was a classic flip and Choupeaux was looking to hold, which he did through the {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop and {8-Diamonds} turn.

"Hold," Choupeaux said before the river, which was a dagger through his heart as it came the {a-Hearts}.

Reichenstein Wins Monster Pot

Level 30 (75,000/150,000/150,000)

Victor Choupeaux raised to 350,000 from under the gun and Uri Reichenstein called from the hijack. Bryan Piccioli came along from the small blind and it was three-way action to a flop of {k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

Piccioli checked, Choupeaux continued for 450,000, and only Reichenstein called to see the {2-Clubs} turn.

Choupeaux bet again, this time 1.5 million, and Reichenstein paused for a bit before making the call.

When the {4-Clubs} completed the board on the river, Choupeaux bet 2.5 million and Reichenstein snap-called.

Choupeaux showed the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} bluff while Reichenstein rolled over the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for the full boat.

Joel Bartolome Eliminated in 10th Place ($19,399)

Joel Bartolome
Joel Bartolome

Level 30 (75,000/150,000/150,000)

Luke Blindert raised to 400,000 under the gun and Joel Bartolome called from the small blind. Autin Peck came along from the big and it was three-way action to a {j-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop.

Bartolome led for 1 million, Peck folded, and Blindert called to see the {8-Spades} turn. Bartolome moved in for 2.6 million and Blindert snap-called.

Joel Bartolome: {j-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Luke Blindert: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Bartolome had top pair but was drawing dead to Blindert's set of sevens. The meaningless {6-Diamonds} was run out on the river and Bartolome hit the rail.

With that, the final nine players will redraw down to the final table.

Mike Dentale Eliminated in 11th Place ($19,399)

Mike Dentale
Mike Dentale

Level 29 (60,000/120,000/120,000)

Mike Dentale raised the small blind to 460,000 only to have Austin Peck move all in from the big. Dentale called off for approximately 2 million and the hands were turned up.

Austin Peck: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Mike Dentale: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Dentale had a kicker problem and it didn't get resolved as the board ran out {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{j-Hearts} to improve Peck to a pair of tens.

Anthony An
Anthony An

Level 29 (60,000/120,000/120,000)

Anthony An moved all in for 1.9 million under the gun and cleared the field around to Uri Reichenstein, who called out of the big blind.

Anthony An: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Uri Reichenstein: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

"I need to suck out on you," An said. Indeed, he needed to but didn't as the board ran out {3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} to send him packing in 12th place.
