Schneider Shoves Twice; Poulsen, Tirca Chop

Level 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Ran Shahar raised to 225,000 in the small blind and Marius Schneider moved all in from the big blind. Shahar quickly folded for his last 1,600,000

Schneider then shoved again from the small blind and De Han Kim gave up his big blind.

The next hand, Ib Poulsen raised to 200,000 under the gun, Tiberiu Tirca shoved for 1,250,000 in the big blind, and Poulsen snap-called.

Tiberiu Tirca: AK All in
Ib Poulsen: AK

Both players showed down the same hand as the board ran out 58528 to chop the pot. "I was close," Poulsen said, pointing out the three diamonds on the board.

"Okay, take it then," Tirca joked.

Shahar Snap Mucks On the River

Level 30 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Ran Shahar opened from under the gun to 200,000. Marius Schneider raised to 500,000 from the cutoff. Shahar called.

He then check-called a bet of 150,000 on the flop of AQA before the J was checked around. Shahar then led for 400,000 on the 7 river. Schneider said "call" and Shahar mucked his hand, leaving Schneider with the pot.

Musa Jusaj
Musa Jusaj

On the hand after the elimination of Ron Jeda, Musa Jusaj shoved for 780,000 under the gun and Ran Shahar called in the hijack. De Han Kim tanked for a moment before folding on the button, leaving Jusaj and Shahar heads-up.

Musa Jusaj: A10 All in
Ran Shahar: 1010

Jusaj was looking for an ace to stay alive, while the Q482 board also gave him a flush draw heading to the river. He missed the 2 river and Shahar took the pot to send Jusaj to the rail in sixth place. Kim then admitted he also folded ace-ten.

Tiberiu Tirca raised to 160,000 under the gun and took down the blinds and antes.

Tirca then raised to 160,000 again the next hand. "You're on fire. This is a tough game, but it's the World Series of Poker so what do you expect," Martin Kabrhel said as he called in the big blind.

The flop came A75 and Tirca bet 80,000. Kabrhel called and the J fell on the turn. Tirca then moved all in.

"Bluff? Hippo smells bluff, but I don't trust him," Kabrhel said, hovering the hippo figurine he uses as a card protector over Tirca's hand.

The dealer counted out Tirca's bet as 1,040,000. "I don't have one-point-zero-four, that's my problem. Can I take it from my pocket, because I have a small flush. It's not a slowroll," Kabrhel said.

"Okay, I'll trust the hippo this time," he added as he eventually called for his last 500,000. Tirca turned over AK for top pair, while Kabrhel had J10 for a pair and flush draw. The river was the 3 and Tirca took the pot to send Kabrhel to the rail in eighth place.

Marius Schneider opened to 160,000 from under the gun. Catalin Diac moved all in from early position for 245,000. Action folded around to Ib Poulsen who reshoved for around 1,800,000. The big blind folded and Poulsen prematurely exposed his hand briefly. Schneider folded.

Catalin Diac: A6All in
Ib Poulsen: QQ

Diac was drawing slim on the Q74 flop and was eliminated on the board pairing 7. To add insult to injury, Poulsen made quads on the Q river.

"Quads in the house" he said, before asking to take a picture of the run out. Diac tapped the table before departing the tournament area.

After Musa Jusaj won a pot with a pre-flop raise from under the gun, Ib Poulsen then raised to 130,000 under the gun the next hand.

"Is UTG the new button?" Martin Kabrhel said. Catalin Diac called in middle position and he and Poulsen went heads-up to a flop of 884. Poulsen then bet 100,000 and Diac called.

The turn was the 6 and Poulsen bet 160,000. Diac then raised to 375,000 and Poulsen called. The 10 fell on the river and Poulsen moved all in for 450,000. Diac snap-folded.
