Martin Kabrhel Eliminated in 8th Place (€3,825)
Tiberiu Tirca raised to 160,000 under the gun and took down the blinds and antes.
Tirca then raised to 160,000 again the next hand. "You're on fire. This is a tough game, but it's the World Series of Poker so what do you expect," Martin Kabrhel said as he called in the big blind.
The flop came A♣7♣5♣ and Tirca bet 80,000. Kabrhel called and the J♠ fell on the turn. Tirca then moved all in.
"Bluff? Hippo smells bluff, but I don't trust him," Kabrhel said, hovering the hippo figurine he uses as a card protector over Tirca's hand.
The dealer counted out Tirca's bet as 1,040,000. "I don't have one-point-zero-four, that's my problem. Can I take it from my pocket, because I have a small flush. It's not a slowroll," Kabrhel said.
"Okay, I'll trust the hippo this time," he added as he eventually called for his last 500,000. Tirca turned over A♠K♠ for top pair, while Kabrhel had J♥10♣ for a pair and flush draw. The river was the 3♠ and Tirca took the pot to send Kabrhel to the rail in eighth place.
