Trast Leaves Huber with Crumbs

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Maximilian Huber shoved for 155,000 from the cutoff and was called by John Trast who had started the hand with 140,000 from the button and was at risk.

John Trast: A9 All in
Maximilian Huber: K10

Things looked grim for Trast after Huber made top two pair on the 10K3 flop but the A turn did give Trast some outs. Trast improved to a better two pair on the 3 river and doubled up through Huber who was left with less than one big blind.

Big Stacks Collide

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Second in chips Marco Jansen opened to 60,000 from early position before Zewei Ding three-bet to 150,000 on his direct left. The action folded back to Jansen, who called.

Jansen check-called for 110,000 on the KJ10 flop, bringing in the K turn. Jansen paused, and then bet 125,000, leaving around 400,000 behind. Ding jammed as the bigger stack and Jansen folded after some time in the tank.

Ding told his table neighbour he had ace-king.

On the first hand of the final table, Dirk Schumacher opened to 45,000 from the hijack. Zewei Ding three-bet to 75,000 from the big blind after mulling over his options. Schumacher four-bet to 195,000 and snap-called for the 135,000 he had behind after Ding jammed as the bigger stack.

Zewei Ding: KK

It was the ultimate cooler to kick off the race to the bracelet and Schumacher improved to a set on the AQJ flop. Ding had a draw to Broadway, which came in on the 10 turn.

Gasps came from each of the finalists ahead of the 6 river, confirming Schumacher's departure.

Schumacher took the beat like a champ, and snapped a picture of the board before heading to the payout desk.

Erik van Hulst kicked things off with a raise to 45,000 from the hijack position, but Pascal Pflock, sitting right next to him, wasn’t backing down—he pushed all in, prompting a quick call from van Hulst.

Erik van Hulst: AK

The flop brought van Hulst some early success, revealing A73 and giving him a pair of aces. The A on the turn only added to his advantage, sealing the deal for Pflock as he headed to the rail. Meanwhile, van Hulst happily added a nice chunk to his stack.

Zewei Ding opened to 35,000 from the cutoff and Michael Adam three-bet shoved for 158,000 from the big blind. Ding called with a covering stack to put Adam at risk.

Michael Adam: 88 All in
Zewei Ding: QJ

Ding flopped an open-ended straight draw on the K106 flop but Adam was still ahead on the K turn. The 10 river counterfeited Adam's pocket pair and he was sent to the rail while Ding was good with a queen-kicker to the two pair on the board and took the pot.
