Zewei Ding opened to 60,000 from under the gun and Marco Jansen defended his big blind. The latter led out for 70,000 on the 9♣7♦6♣ flop and folded out Ding.
On the next deal, Pel Nieuwenhuis raised to 60,000 from under the gun and Ding called from the big blind. Ding check-raised to 100,000 over a bet of 40,000 on the K♥5♦5♠ flop and was called. Ding sized up to 160,000 on the 8♥ turn. Nieuwenhuis returned his cards to the dealer.
Stepan Khachaturyan made it 70,000 from early position and Ding called from the small blind before folding to a bet of 110,000 on the A♥10♥10♠ flop.
Maximilian Huber, who had started the hand with 20,000, was automatically all in from the big blind. Erik van Hulst opened to 60,000 from early position before Zewei Ding three-bet to 160,000 from middle position. Van Hulst moved all in for around 400,000 and Ding quickly called.
"Please have ace-king" Van Hulst commented before the cards hit their backs.
Maximilian Huber: 10♠6♣
Erik van Hulst: 7♠7♥
Zewei Ding: A♣Q♦
"I believe in this hand" Van Hulst remarked about his pocket sevens, which were still in the lead on the K♣J♣6♥ flop. Ding took the lead with second pair on the Q♥ turn and remained ahead on the 8♣ river to send both opponents to the rail and extend his lead over the rest of the field.
With two players seeing a board of A♦5♥K♣9♦4♣ and around 85,000 in the middle, De Han Kim checked from the small blind and Stepan Khachaturyan bet 40,000 from the big blind. Kim made the call.
Khachaturyan shook his head before showing Q♠7♠ for just queen-high. Much to the table's surprise Kim showed that he had hero-called with Q♥6♣ for an inferior queen-high. Khachaturyan's kicker played and he took the pot.
Gal Naim opened to 50,000 from under the gun and was called by Erik van Hulst from the hijack, De Han Kim then shived for 290,000 from the big blind. Naim got out of the way and Van Hulst snap-called.
"ICM suicide," said Kim as the cards were tabled.
De Han Kim: A♦K♠
Erik van Hulst: 10♠10♥
Kim let out a little cheer as he paired up on the A♥6♠3♦ flop and doubled up after the Q♣ turn and 7♠ river.
