Two Double-Ups for Peters
Before the blinds went up, Tobias Peters went for a stop and go against Daniel Koloszar when he defended the big blind against a min-raise. Peters then got the last 160,000 in after the 9♠3♠2♠ flop and was behind with 4♠4♣ versus A♦9♦.
"The spade is coming," Peters predicted.
Koloszar improved to trips on the 9♣ turn but the spade came with the Q♠ river.
Barny Boatman then min-raised to 200,000 and folded to a shove by Rafi Elharar.
Koloszar opened to 200,000 next and Peters three-bet the button with 100,000 behind. Koloszar jammed and Peters called all-in for 720,000.
Tobias Peters: A♣Q♦
Daniel Koloszar: J♠J♣
The flip went to the Dutchman thanks to the A♠10♣10♥9♠7♥ board.
"I like the start of this final table," Peters admitted with a big grin on the face after his second double-up in quick succession.
