Pansier Ships It In

Level 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With tens of thousands worth of chips already in the middle on a board of KQ47, Nino Pansier checked from early position to Dario Alioto, who shoved for around 70,000 from the cutoff.

Pansier went deep into the tank before the clock was eventually called by a tablemate. Pansier looked pained and decided to toss his hand into the muck as his time winded down, sending the sizable pot Alioto’s way.

Paduano Flops a Boat; Eliminates Joentausta

Level 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Aku Joentausta
Aku Joentausta

Aku Joentausta and Arturo Paduano were already all in for a massive pot on a board of 44103. Paduano was in the big blind and had Joesntausta, who was on the button, covered at and risk.

Aku Joentausta: KQ84
Arturo Paduano: J1094

Joentausta found himself drawing to a bigger full house against Paduano’s flopped boat, but the 8 river wasn’t enough — sending Joentausta to re-enter should he choose early on Day 1.

Omar Eljach
Omar Eljach

Omar Eljach had raised a previous open to 6,000 from middle position, only for Grzegorz Derkowski to four-bet it to 25,300 from the hijack. Arturo Paduano then five-bet to 83,000 from the button and received calls from both Eljach and Derkowski.

The flop came 873. Eljach moved all in for 19,400 and Derkowski reshoved for 25,900. Paduano called with a covering stack to put both players at risk.

Omar Eljach: K864
Grzegorz Derkowski: QQJ9
Arturo Paduano: AAK9

The rest of the board ran out 5A. Eljach's nut-flush was best and he scooped a titanic pot worth nearly 800 big blinds while Derkowski took the side pot with a smaller flush.

Nagy Leaves Rodrigues Short

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Gergo Nagy

Three ways on a 52J flop, Gergo Nagy checked from the small blind and Barny Boatman checked from middle position to Michael Rodrigues, who was in the cutoff. Rodrigues bet 4,000 and both Nagy and Boatman called.

The 8 fell on the turn and action again checked to Rodrigues, who sized up for a 10,500 bet. Nagy then check-raised to 49,000, which got a fold from Boatman and a call from Rodrigues, who was left with just 10,500 behind.

The J completed the board and Nagy bet enough to put Rodrigues all in. Rodrigues quickly folded and Nagy added to his stack.
