Level 33 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Elia Salerno
Elia Salerno

Elia Salerno raised to 450,000 in the hijack and chip leader Dennis Magro defended his big blind.

The flop came A73 and Salerno continued for 550,000. Magro then raised to 1,100,000 and Salerno quickly moved all in for 3,475,000.

Magro confirmed the amount and spent a few minutes in the tank before flicking in a chip to signify a call.

Elia Salerno: AK
Dennis Magro: A5

Both players had flopped top pair, but Salerno was ahead with his king-kicker. The A turn gave both players trips, but Magro missed the 8 river as Salerno earned a massive double up to begin the day.

"I can't fold. I was hoping you had a flush draw," Magro said.
