One hand later, Daniel Smuskovics raised and Eldabach called on the button, Patrik Jaros called from the big blind. The A98 flop was checked to Smuskovics and he bet 20,000, only Eldabach called. After the 6 turn, Smuskovics bet 20,000 for Eldabach to call and the same action repeated on the 9 river.

Rolli showed his KQ54, Smuskovics had the AQ97 for a full house and the KJ97 of Eldabach was no good.

Klezys Drives Jaros Crazy; Alioto Gets Away With a Raise on Rolli

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Heads-up blind versus blind, Patrik Jaros bet 34,000 on a board of K655 and Kasparas Klezys called.

The river came the 7 and Jaros inquired about the size of the pot before leading out with just 31,000. Klezys then raised to 120,000.

Jaros sat back in his chair receiving a massage as the minutes ticked off the clock. He eventually peeked back at his cards and folded after more than five minutes.

At the same time at another table, Dario Alioto and Fabian Rolli were also in a blind versus blind battle as Rolli led out for 15,000 on QK7. Alioto then raised to 74,000.

Tournament officials announced that play was going hand-for-hand as Rolli continued to tank. "Even worse," he said.

"This wasn't a bubble play," Alioto said.

"I would never think of folding here if it wasn't the bubble," Rolli said, eventually mucking AKQJ. Alioto showed him KQ as he took the pot.

Tsang Loses His Crown

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Anson Tsang
Anson Tsang

Anson Tsang and Tobias Peters were heads-up on a board of 76J5 and around 30,000 in the pot as Tsang, in the small blind, tanked for a minute before betting 30,000.

Tsang left only one orange 1,000 chip behind and Peters instantly moved all in. Tsang tossed in his last chip and showed AQJ7 for two pair, but Peters had AK43 for a straight.

The river came the 8 and Tsang, the two-time and defending champion of this event, was sent to the rail short of the money as Peters raked in more chips to add to his stack, which he has painstakingly organized in a symmetrical pattern.
