Ghizaoui Takes the Lead With Double Elimination

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Javier Francort
Javier Francort

Jamel Ghizaoui had previously chipped up significantly and added even further chips to take over the lead on the final four tables.

Guy Goossens jammed from under the gun for around 1,250,000 and Ghizaoui piled in his tower of T-500,000 chips on the button. Javier Francort called all-in out of the big blind for around 4.1 million and a three-way showdown emerged.

Guy Goossens: A9
Javier Francort: AK
Jamel Ghizaoui: AQ

The 873 flop and 2 turn brought Francort on the verge of a large double, but the cruel Q river gave Ghizaoui the best hand and lock up a double elimination.

Luigi Andrea Shehadeh
Luigi Andrea Shehadeh

De Han Kim opened the action from under the gun and snap-called when Luigi Shehadeh pushed for what appeared to be around 15 blinds on the button.

Luigi Shehadeh: 66
De Han Kim: AA

The AK7 flop left Shehadeh in dire shape as he needed running sixes to stay alive.

"Good game," he already said to everyone at the table and departed when the 8 turn as well as 4 river officially sealed his fate.

Saran Accumulating Chips

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

With two players seeing a board reading Q62J10 and roughly 2,000,000 already in the middle, Lazare Kalebashvili checked from the big blind and [Removed:446] bet 2,000,000, sending Kalebashvili into the tank.

After roughly two minutes Kalebashvili flicked in the call. Saran tabled KQ for top pair which was good enough to take down a massive pot.

Kraft Runs Into Cigliano's Aces

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

From the small blind, Florian Kraft moved all in to apply pressure on Alberto Cigliano's small stack. Unfortunatelly for him, Cigliano found the best hand possible in the big blind.

Alberto Cigliano: AA
Florian Kraft: Q9

The board K21033 didn't change anything, so Cigliano secured a double up.

Sabri Neziri
Sabri Neziri

Table 108 had just lost Renato Ardelean and soon after, there was another all-in showdown. Sabri Neziri raised to 400,000 on the button and then reluctantly called all-in when Omar Eljach pushed out of the small blind.

Sabri Neziri: A10
Omar Eljach: K10

Eljach needed clubs or a king to deal the final blow and almost got there on the 933A10 board. However, Neziri held up with aces and tens to double for 3,450,000.

Penev Gets Tricky for a Double

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Zlatin Nedyalkov Penev
Zlatin Nedyalkov Penev

Just before the blinds went up, Zlatin Penev limped in the cutoff and Levan Rcheulishvili raised to 460,000 in the small blind. Lazare Kalebashvili called in the big blind and Penev then moved all-in for 2,680,000 and Rcheulishvili went deep into the tank.

As the clock was called on him, Rcheulishvili called at the very last second of his 30 second countdown and Kalebashvili shook his head to a fold a few seconds later.

Zlatin Penev: AA
Levan Rcheulishvili: AQ

The aces were not cracked on the Q6389 runout and Penev more than doubled.
