Pop Crosses a Million

Level 22 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Action was three ways to the turn of a board showing 3J77, with Yuzhou Yin checking in the small blind. Johan De Clercq fired 62,000 in the big blind and Sefora Pop made the call from under the gun.

Yin also called to the 3 river, where action was checked to Pop. She quickly tossed out a bet of 150,000. Yin did not take long to make the call, while De Clercq announced fold as he showed K8 for a flopped flush.

Pop turned over A7 for a full house, adding a big chunk to her stack as Yin mucked.

Zerjav Comes Up Empty

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Blaz Zerjav
Blaz Zerjav

Ilie Smintanca-Januszewski moved all in for 150,000 from middle position before Blaz Zerjav moved his shorter stack of 88,000 in as well on the button. The blinds got out the way and the cards were turned up.

Blaz Zerjav: KJ
Ilie Smintanca-Januszewski: AQ

Zerjav stood up as soon as he saw the 2A4 flop, which left Smintanca-Januszewski squarely in front. The 8 turn and 4 river changed nothing, as Zerjav was sent to the payout desk.

Two Knockouts and a Double

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Matthew Davenport was seen on his way to the payout desk when he couldn't beat the A4 of Robert Saffran on a board of A73QQ. "Snap call? You had a soul read on him ..." another player at the table chimed in.

Shortly after, Henning Wendlandt had opened and Rene Majed three-bet to 100,000 with around 230,000 behind in the blinds. Wendlandt then pushed for 377,000 and Majed eventually called, grabbed his phone and recorded the showdown.

Rene Majed: KQ
Henning Wendlandt: AK

The ace-kicker prevailed on a board of JJ4K6 and Majed was knocked out.

"I miss-clicked preflop and raised to high. He has also been doing some weird shit before," Majed said on his way out.

Last but not least, Halil Coknez was all-in with a short stack on the button holding the K9. Samuel Mullur in the hijack was ahead with AQ but Coknez got there on the JJ949 runout.

Skosples Runs Into the Nuts

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Bruno Skosples defended his big blind against an under-the-gun raise by Sefora Pop and check-called the 654 flop for 25,000. He then check-called the A turn for 60,000 and jammed the 9 river for around 130,000, Pop snap-called.

"Nothing," Skosples declared and flung his Q7 for a busted straight draw towards the dealer. Pop showed her A2 for the nut flush and scored the knockout.

"I almost called preflop, I had ten eight of diamonds," Yuzhou Yin in the eight seat mentioned.
