Level 19
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Alf Martinsson raised from the hijack and was called by Michael Armstrong on the button, Alexander Tkatschew also came along in the big blnd as well. The Q♣3♥3♠ flop was checked to Armstrong, who continued for 55,000. Tkatschew got out of the way but Martinsson called.
That led the duo to the 5♥ turn on which Martinsson check-called for another 90,000. The 10♠ river was checked by the Swede once more and Armstrong pushed all-in. No count was asked upon as Martinsson snap-called.
Already knowing his fate, Armstrong flipped over the K♦J♦ for a king-high bluff and Martinsson dealt the final blow with the A♠A♣.
"It was fun," the Canadian said on his way out of the tournament area.
