Without any major action prior to the 5♠4♣3♥6♥ turn, Stephen Chidwick in the under-the-gun position check-called a bet worth 18,000 by Orpen Kisacikoglu on the button.
Chidwick checked the 9♣ on the river and Kisacikoglu bet 75,000 to win the pot uncontested.
Gab Yong Kim made it 19,000 from the button and Felipe Ketzer defended his big blind. Kim then bet 28,000 chips on the 2♣5♦10♣ flop and Ketzer made the call after first having checked.
The 6♣ turn was then dealt and Ketzer took the initiative by leading for 35,000. Kim made the call and the 4♠ river completed the board.
Ketzer now upped the ante to 53,000, and Kim made another call. Ketzer showed his 10♥6♦ for turned two pair and Kim quickly mucked his cards while nodding in acknowledgment.
Tamas Adamszki raised to 20,000 and Felipe Ketzer was the only caller in the small blind. The duo headed to the K♠7♣5♦ flop on which Ketzer checked, Adamszki bet 45,000 and received a call.
Fast forward to the Q♠ turn, Ketzer checked again and Adamszki made it 180,000 to go in order to shut down his opponent.
Gab Yong Kim and Adrian Mateos were heads up in a pot of 150,000 chips. Kim checked to Mateos from middle position on the board of 2♦A♥5♦J♦ and the latter put forth a bet of 60,000 from the hijack. Kim made the call and the river fell the 7♥.
Kim checked once again and faced a 185,000 bet once Mateos' turn had ended. Kim made a quick call and Mateos revealed Q♦10♦ for the queen-high flush.
Kim tabled 9♦7♦ for a lesser flush, meaning that the pot was sent Mateos' way.
With the additions of Ioannis Angelou-Konstas and Fahredin Mustafov, the field has reached 18 players and as many of them still have chips at their disposal. A third table has opened as the action now continues with six players on each table.
The board read 9♠3♦3♠10♣ when the action was caught, and the pot amounted to 60,000 chips. Felipe Ketzer checked from middle position and was faced with an over-bet of 75,000 from Ben Heath in the hijack. Ketzer called and the 7♦ river completed the board.
Ketzer checked again and Heath followed suit after using one time bank extension. Ketzer confidently tabled his A♥10♦ for top pair and it was indeed enough to rake in the pot as Heath's cards hit the muck.
Joining the action on the 10♠5♦3♦7♥ turn with around 120,000 in the middle, Stephen Chidwick checked and subsequently called a bet worth 135,000 by Gab Yong Kim.
Chidwick checked again the J♠ on the river and Kim reluctantly knuckled it back. The Brit tabled his 9♦8♦ that went from flush draw to open-ender to nut straight, and Kim could all but shake his head.
Stephen Chidwick was involved in a pot with Nacho Barbero. Barbero checked from the big blind on a board of 2♣A♦K♠Q♠ and Chidwick put a 150,000 bet in the pot of 160,000. Barbero made the call and the 4♠ river completed the board.
Chidwick checked behind once Barbero had done so first, and Barbero tabled A♥7♠ for top pair. Chidwick hat that beat with his A♣2♠ for two pair, and raked in the sizable pot.
One hand later, Gab Yong Kim raised from middle position and Chidwick three-bet to 50,000. The action folded back to Kim, who called. The flop was then dealt Q♣J♠5♥ and Kim check-folded to a continuation-bet of Chidwick, leaving himself as the shortest stack in the tournament.
Santhosh Suvarna checked the heads-up turn of Q♥J♣8♠4♦ and then faced a bet worth 75,000 by Leonard Maue. What followed was the shove by Suvarna for around 240,000 and Maue instantly called.
Santhosh Suvarna: K♦10♠
Leonard Maue: 4♥4♣
The turned set of fours left Suvarna on the ropes as he needed an ace or nine to survive. Neither came with the 7♠ river and that sent Suvarna to the rail.
