Suvarna and Zhou Increase Their Stacks

Level 10 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Santhosh Suvarna
Santhosh Suvarna

Three ways to the A73 flop, Santhosh Suvarna and Felipe Ketzer checked in the blinds. Daniel Dvoress bet 40,000 on the button and both opponents came along to the J turn.

This time, only Suvarna check-called for 180,000 when Dvoress bet again. That produced the 6 on the river and Suvarna bet 355,000 this time. Dvoress gave him a stare down and folded, prompting a big smile on Suvarna's face when he raked in the pot.

Ketzer then squeezed big to 170,000 thereafter and Quan Zhou was the sole caller. Ketzer bet the AA6 flop for 50,000 to receive a call and bet again for 80,000 on the 5 turn. Zhou splashed in a raise to 280,000 and forced out the Brazilian.

Kim Puts the Pressure On Angelou-Konstas

Level 10 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Gab Yong Kim and Ioannis Angelou-Konstas were heads up on a flop of 6810. With around 105,000 chips in the middle, Kim checked to Angelou-Konstas, who put out a bet of 27,000. Kim then raised to 69,000 and Angelou-Konstas called.

The 7 turn graced the felt and Kim continued for another 165,000. Once again, Angelou-Konstas complied with a call. On the 5 river, Kim put Angelou-Konstas all-in for his final 375,000 chips.

Angelou-Konstas put forward all of his time bank extensions, but would ultimately only end up using two of them before throwing his cards into the muck, forfeiting the pot to Kim.

Kim Takes a Large One from Chidwick

Level 10 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The pot had already grown to a sizable 490,000 chips when the action was caught on the 2627 turn. Hyunsup Kim and Stephen Chidwick then decided to each put 300,000 chips more into the pot, and they went off to the 4 river.

Both players knuckled the table and Kim showed JJ for two pair, jacks and deuces. That was enough to win the pot as Chidwick passed his cards face-down to the dealer, signaling his defeat.

Mustafov and Mulder Earn Double-Ups

Level 10 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Fahredin Mustafov

Tamas Adamszki raised to 35,000 and subsequently four-bet jammed into a three-bet by table neighbour Fahredin Mustafov, who beat him into the pot with the all-in call.

Fahredin Mustafov: AA
Tamas Adamszki: 77

Mustafov all but locked up the double with the AJ8 flop but had a sudden sweat to endure on the 10 turn. However, the 10 river only improved the Bulgarian to aces full of tens and he doubled for 610,000.

Moments later on the third table, Teun Mulder was all-in preflop for 333,000 with the AQ. He flipped against Gab Yong Kim with the 1010 and got there on a board of A8526.

With the flop reading AJ5, Francisco Benitez bet 40,000 into a pot of around 140,000 out of the blinds and he was called by Timothy Adams.

Benitez then check-called the 10 turn for 60,000 to check the 6 river thereafter. Adams bet 346,000 with one T-1,000 chip behind. That sent Benitez into a brief tank before the Uruguayan reluctantly folded.

Chidwick's Stack Dwindles Further

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick raised to 40,000 from the button. Chris Brewer sat in the small blind and eyed big blind Teun Mulder's stack before putting in a three-bet to 180,000. Mulder got out of the way, but Chidwick stuck around with a call.

On the J8Q flop, Chidwick checked to Brewer, who made a continuation-bet of 100,000. Chidwick swiftly folded, and Brewer's stack continued to grow.

Lin Catches a Double-Up

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Chris Brewer opened from the button and Ren Lin pushed his final 385,000 all in. Brewer made the call and all cards were tabled.

Ren Lin: A2
Chris Brewer: KQ

Brewer flopped top pair on Q10J, but Lin had obtained a combo draw to still be in contention. The 10 turn did nothing for either player and Lin requested a spade going to the river.

His wish was granted when the 7 emerged from the deck. Lin made his flush and doubled up to a stack of 40 big blinds.

Felipe Ketzer: 98

Adamszki remained ahead all the way on the 542Q7 board and doubled for 203,000.

Angelou-Konstas Prevails Against the Kim's

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ioannis Angelou-Konstas
Ioannis Angelou-Konstas

Ioannis Angelou-Konstas was involved in the action from under the gun with Gab Yong Kim and Hyunsup Kim also in the mix out of the blinds. The 9668 flop was checked by the former Kim, while the latter bet 42,000 to receive two callers.

On the 4 river, Kim checked to Kim who bet 75,000. Angelou-Konstas then pushed all-in for 217,000 and enforced one fold. The bigger-stacked Kim eventually called and Angelou-Konstas tabled the 88 for eights full of nines.

Hyunsup Kim had to show his 97 as per all-in showdown rule and forfeited a small portion of his large stack.
