Lin Doubles Up Kim

Level 9 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Ren Lin raised to 25,000 from the hijack and called the subsequent three-bet of 65,000 by cutoff Gab Yong Kim. The pair went to the flop of 7102, where Lin check-called the 60,000 continuation-bet of Kim.

Both players then checked on the 7 turn before the K river appeared. Lin enquired after his opponents' stack before putting in a pile of T-100,000 chips. Kim slammed in his final 316,000 chips as a call and Lin turned over 75 for trip sevens.

However, Kim was playing a flush with his Q9 and raked in a big double-up, as he almost returned to the starting stack.

Suvarna Takes From Heath; Loses to Ketzer

Level 10 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Ben Heath in the big blind check-called a bet of 31,000 by Santhosh Suvarna on the button and they checked the 5 on the turn. Heath then bet the 4 river for 180,000 and Suvarna reluctantly called.

Heath showed his K3 but Suvarna had that beat with the AK.

"That's not what I was expecting," Fahredin Mustafov chimed in.

Suvarna leaped well above the starting stack but right after that lost a big pot to Felipe Ketzer when they had a big bet and call in after the J532 turn. The K river was checked and Suvarna tabled QQ, Ketzer had gotten there with the AK.

Brewer Doubles Through Mulder

Level 10 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Chris Brewer
Chris Brewer

Chris Brewer checked to Teun Mulder on a turn on 7J86. Mulder then added 230,000 chips to the already big pot of 335,000. Brewer made the call and the 5 river rolled off.

Brewer spent some time in the tank before front-shipping his stack of 630,000 in the middle. After Mulder took some time of his own to think it over, he put in the call, but mucked his cards once he saw the 109 of Brewer open up, for the stone-cold nuts.

Mulder was left with just over 20 big blinds while Brewer soared up the leaderboard to be among the leaders.

Adams Surrenders to Barbero

Level 10 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Nacho Barbero had three-bet a raise to 80,000 from the cutoff before Timothy Adams made it 160,000 to go from the big blind. Barbero sighed but eventually made the call.

The J47 flop then checked through before Adams checked again on the 10 turn. Barbero now made a bet of 140,000 and Adams swiftly added his cards to the muck, forfeiting the pot to his opponent.
