Brewer Wins Two Showdown Pots

Chris Brewer defended his big blind against an under-the-gun raise by Quan Zhou and check-called the A♦4♣3♥ flop for 7,000. The 10♠ turn was checked and Brewer bet the 10♣ river for 25,000.
Zhou called but mucked to the A♠8♦ of Brewer.
Brewer opened the button soon after and was called by Gab Yong Kim in the big blind. Kim check-called the 8♠5♣2♦ flop for 18,000 before they checked down the 8♣ turn as well as the 8♦ river.
Kim flashed 6♠4♠ for a missed gutshot and Brewer took down the pot with K♠J♦.
