Leykauf Gets Lucky to KO Kondraszuk

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Schayan Schakeri opened from under the gun to 130,000 and the action folded around to Frank Leykauf on the button. Leykauf three-bet to 260,000 before Maciej Kondraszuk moved all in for 690,000 in the big blind.

Schakeri took some time before making the fold, while Leykauf called and the hands were revealed.

Maciej Kondraszuk: AK
Frank Leykauf: AQ

The flop of 7J9 was clean for Kondraszuk, but the Q turn left Leykauf in front. The 6 river completed the board, as Kondraszuk wished the table good luck on his way to the payout desk.

Schakeri and Penev Knock Out Pop

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Cornel-Gabriel Pop was in the big blind with a severe short stack and big blind ante invested. He faced a raise to 100,000 by Schayan Schakeri and a three-bet to 250,000 by Zlatin Penev, after which he called all-in for 175,000 and Schakeri came along.

On the A77 flop, Schakeri check-called for 65,000 and did so again for 250,000 on the 2 turn. The A river was checked as Schakeri was shown the AQ by his table neighbour. Schakeri had a dry smile on the face as his A7 had flopped a full house only to settle for a chop.

In the meanwhile, Pop's tournament ended as he stood no chance with the J9.

Emil Bisse
Emil Bisse

Cemil Kaya raised to 75,000 off a stack of around half a million and Emil Bise then pushed all-in with the covering stack. That sent Kaya into the tank and he eventually called it off.

Once Bise rolled over the A9, Kaya sighed and exposed the dominated A6.

The kicker played on the 77532 runout as Kaya failed to improve, sending Bise'e stack to seven figures.

Riadh Ben Farhat
Riadh Ben Farhat

Vadzim Lipauka open-shoved for 105,000 and Damien Duquellenec called from one seat over. Riadh Ben Farhat in the big blind tanked for a minute to then shove for more than half a million and Duquellenec snapped him off to put two players at risk.

Vadzim Lipauka: 55
Riadh Ben Farhat: J9
Damien Duquellenec: KK

Ben Farhat was caught with the fingers in the cookie jar and there was no upset in the cards. The A433Q board provided no help to Lipauka either and Duquellenec scored a double knockout.
