With some 210,000 in the middle to the {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} turn, Bernd Werner checked and Boris Angelov bet 125,000 and Werner then check-jammed with the superior stack. Angelov snapped that off within one second and Werner knew he was behind.

The {5-Clubs} river brought no upset as Angelov doubled for 396,000.

Guengoer Doubles Once More

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Arthur Conan had further increased his already impressive stack and then opened the action with a raise to 35,000. Table short stack Dogan Guengoer pushed for 310,000 in the cutoff and Conan called.

Dogan Guengoer: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Arthur Conan: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop all but locked up the double for Guengoer and that was made official on the {2-Clubs} turn, as the {5-Clubs} river became a formality. Despite losing this pot, Conan remains near the top of the leaderboard.

Erdar Felted by La Francesca

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The players on table 97 were already preparing the upcoming chip race and Alessio La Francesca was buying off the T-1,000 chips from his opponents. He also collected the chips of Suleyman Erdar by knocking out his short-stacked table neighbour in the following showdown.

Suleyman Erdar: {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Alessio La Francesca: {a-Clubs}{3-Spades}

The {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop was a sweat for Erdar but he missed on the {9-Spades} turn and {10-Spades} river.

Mustafov Hits River to Double

Level 19 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov moved all-in preflop and was called by Stanislav Koleno.

Fahredin Mustafov: {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Stanislav Koleno: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Mustafov was in bad shape with a dominated ace and looked to be heading out after the {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop and {2-Diamonds} turn. The {7-Diamonds} binked the river for Mustafov to have a just under average stack.

Rapid-Fire Eliminations After Dinner

Level 19 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Dominik Panka was eliminated by Yossi Dayan and soon after, it was also the end of the road for short stack ninja Yehuda Cohen. He found an ace to get it in with and tabled the {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Davide Suriano in the small blind looked him up with the superior {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and the board ran out {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Also on the rail is Philipp Siebert after his {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} failed to hold up against the {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} of Severin Schleser on the {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} runout.
