Kidas Calls Down Guilbert

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Johan Guilbert opened the action with a raise to 320,000 and Athanasios Kidas defended the big blind. On the {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, Kidas checked and subsequently called a continuation bet worth 335,000. Both opted to check the {5-Diamonds} turn and Kidas then led the {9-Hearts} river for 425,000

Guilbert raised to 985,000 and Kidas called after brief consideration. "Straight flush," Guilbert joked as he turned over the {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a bluff. Kidas had that beat with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} as he dragged in the healthy pot with his ace-queen high.
