Six Players to Battle for Gold Bracelet in Event #9: €1,100 NLH Bounty Hunter

Tim Novotny
Tim Novotny

Out of a field of 604 entries in Event #9: €1,100 NLH Bounty Hunter, only six hopefuls remain in contention to claim the latest coveted gold bracelet during the 2021 World Series of Poker Europe. They are all guaranteed at least €13,243 for their efforts along with the accumulated bounty prizes but the biggest slice of the €392,600 cash prize pool is still up for grabs.

After 31 levels of 20 minutes each, the tournament was whittled down to the final six at the King's Resort in Rozvadov. Since the players wanted to participate in the upcoming Event #11: €1,650 NLH 6-Max, they agreed to return to the biggest poker arena in Europe at 9 a.m. local time, one hour ahead of the start of the next bracelet event.

Leading the final six into the unscheduled second day is Germany's Tim Novotny with 4,300,000 in chips. Close behind are Michael Strauch (3,500,000), Pablo Finini (3,250,000) and Sergiu Covrig (3,175,000) who are all within one big blind. Romain Le Dantec and Nicola D'Anselmo are the short stacks but just one double-up away from threatening the top spot.
