Armando D'Avanzo Eliminated in 4th Place (€63,613)

Level 23 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Armando D'Avanzo
Armando D'Avanzo

Armando D'Avanzo raised the pot from under the gun and then called all-in when Maximilian Klostermeier pushed out of the big blind.

Armando D'Avanzo: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Maximilian Klostermeier: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Both players flopped a set on {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Klostermeier continued his hot run when the {9-Clubs} turn provided a flush. The board didn't pair anymore as a blank {8-Diamonds} river completed the board, ending D'Avanzo's bid for a second bracelet in 4th place for €63,613.

Nikola Minkov Eliminated in 5th Place (€46,821)

Level 23 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Nikola Minkov
Nikola Minkov

Maximilian Klostermeier opened to 275,000 and called Nikola Minkov's 885,000 three-bet from the big blind.

Minkov commited the rest of chips on the {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and was snap-called.

Nikola Minkov: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Maximilian Klostermeier: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Neither player had hit the board but Klostermeier had every straight out under the sun. The {10-Clubs} peeled off on the turn to give him the nut straight and leave Minkov drawing dead. The {q-Spades} river was just a formality.

Klostermeier Gets Value From D'Avanzo

Level 23 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

In a limped battle of the blinds, Maximilian Klostermeier and Armando D'Avanzo invested one blind each on the {j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop. Klostermeier led the {5-Diamonds} turn for 350,000 and the {6-Clubs} river for 750,000. D'Avanzo called both times albeit reluctantly on the river.

Klostermeier rolled over {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for treys full of sixes and that won the pot.

Jouhkimainen Jams Into Minkov

Level 23 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Nikola Minkov raised to 300,000 on the button and Joni Jouhkimainen three-bet to 1,020,000 out of the small blind. Minkov eyeballed the stacks of the other players at the table, then the stack of the Finn, and called.

On the {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, Jouhkimainen jammed for around 1.7 million and Minkov snap-folded.

Di Nicola Left Short After Blind Versus Blind Battle

Level 23 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Ermanno Di Nicola opened up the action in the small blind to 350,000 and then four-bet jammed after Minkov raised. Minkov committed his chips once more and they rolled over their hands.

Nikola Minkov: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Ermanno Di Nicola: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The monotone {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop changed nothing, as did the {7-Hearts} turn. The {2-Diamonds} river gave the at risk Minkov a huge double and left his opponent with pennies.

Klostermeier Rises Further

Level 22 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Maximilian Klostermeier bet the turn and river of a {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} board. The final bet was worth 725,000 and Armando D'Avanzo immediately set "you win" to snap-fold and reveal the {5-Spades}.

"Wow, he doesn't even think about it. No good, by the way," Klostermeier said to Joni Jouhkimainen.

Jaroslav Peter Eliminated in 6th Place (€35,317)

Level 22 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Jaroslav Peter
Jaroslav Peter

Jaroslav Peter invested 250,000 out of the small blind and so did Maximilian Klostermeier in the big blind. Once they headed to the {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Peter jammed for 450,000 and Klostermeier asked for a count before making the reluctant call.

Jaroslav Peter: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Maximilian Klostermeier: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

The {j-Spades} turn improved Klostermeier to the superior pair and the {a-Hearts} river spelled the end for Peter in 6th place for €35,317.

Peter Escapes From Elimination

Level 22 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Ermanno Di Nicola check-called a bet worth 350,000 by Nikola Minkov on the {j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} turn and checked the {k-Clubs} river. Minkov checked back and then mucked when Di Nicola tabled the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts} for the effective nuts.

Maximilian Klostermeier then raised to 250,000 and Joni Jouhkimainen defended the big blind. On the {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop, Jouhkimainen checked and folded to a bet worth 400,000 by Klostermeier.

One hand later, Klostermeier raised to 250,000 from under the gun and called the all-in of Jaroslav Peter for the last 300,000.

Jaroslav Peter: {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}
Maximilian Klostermeier: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs} board improved Peter to a straight.
