Roiter Left With Crumbs as Vogelsang Doubles

Level 5 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Tom Vogelsang
Tom Vogelsang

Tom Vogelsang raised to 7,000 and Klemens Roiter defended out of the big blind. On a {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop, Roiter opted for a bet worth 30,000 and Vogelsang raised to 75,000 for his opponent to call. Roiter then check-called the {a-Diamonds} turn for 110,000 and the {10-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Another bet by Roiter for 150,000 followed and Vogelsang jammed for 323,000 to get called. Vogelsang tabled the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a flush and Roiter was left with a chip and a chair as he only held {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

Roiter was all-in the next hand out of the small blind as Vogelsang raised and Christopher Puetz defended the big blind. Puetz check-called the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop for 6,000 and the {8-Clubs} turn was checked through, as was the {4-Clubs} river. Roiter had the {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the nut flush, which beat Puetz's {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and the {a-Spades}{6-Spades} of Vogelsang.
