Foxen Eliminates Mothes

Level 20 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Pierre Mothes
Pierre Mothes

Alex Foxen raised it up to 55,000 on the button and Pierre Mothes jammed all in for his last 367,000 in the big blind. Foxen asked for a count and called off the 15 big blind stack.

Alex Foxen: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Pierre Mothes: {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Foxen was in a dominating position but the flop of {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} gave Mothes plenty of chop outs. The {9-Hearts} gave Foxen a necessary pair as the {4-Clubs} completed the board. It wasn't enough for Mothes to stay alive and Foxen climbed over one million chips once again.

Segebrecht Takes From Walter

Level 20 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Claas Segebrecht defended out of the small blind against a raise by Viktor Walter and check-raised the {j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop from 65,000 to 183,000. Walter made the call to see the {q-Spades} on the turn on which Segebrecht carefully checked his stack before opting to check.

Walter bet 152,000 and Segebrecht tossed in calling chips to check again on the {4-Diamonds} river. Walter gave up the pot and Segebrecht tabled {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for jacks and treys, Walter mucked the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

"If I go all-in do you call?" Walter inquired and Segebrecht replied with a "probably not" while he was busy stacking up the chips.

Kristoffer Rasmussen was the shortest stack in the room and moved all in for 158,000 from under the gun. The action folded around to Maria Lampropulos in the big blind who made a quick call.

Maria Lampropulos: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Kristoffer Rasmussen: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
