Blasko Can Beat Nines

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Enrico Camosci raised it up to 80,000 from under the gun and Marek Blasko three-bet to 275,000 from one seat over, Camosci called.

After the {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, Camosci checked and called a bet worth 300,000 to see the {k-Clubs} turn go check, check. The {3-Diamonds} followed on the river and Camosci bet 325,000.

Blasko started some table chat and eventually said "I can beat nines, think I have to call" before tossing in the chips.

Camosci indeed showed {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Blasko was one better with {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

How Many Kings in the Deck?

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Michal Lubas opened to 80,000 in the hijack and Jorma Nuutinen just shoved all in from the cutoff, with no stack over a million left to act. Alexandros Kolonias was in the big blind and called off his stack of 930,000. Nuutinen thought for a couple of minutes before making the call as well for 935,000.

Alexandros Kolonias: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Michal Lubas: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Jorma Nuutinen: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Kolonias and Lubas held the same hand which dominated that of Nuutinen. The flop of {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} gave Kolonias a flush draw to an out-right win. The {k-Clubs} landed on the turn to leave Nuutinen drawing dead and the {k-Spades} on the river ensured Kolonias and Lubas of a chop.

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Sergio Ruiz
Sergio Ruiz

Sergio Ruiz returned from the break as one of the shortest stacks in the room and it didn't take long for him to get his chips in the middle. The cards were already face up with Ruiz at risk for just over 300,000 against Charbel Salloum.

Charbel Salloum: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Sergio Ruiz: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Most of the board was already turned face down but it was a slam on the table from Ruiz that caught everyone's attention. Ruiz's pocket sixes were in the lead throughout until the {q-Spades} hit the river. Salloum paired up and Ruiz was eliminated.

Foxen Doubles Through Martini

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Julien Martini min-raised to 80,000 and Alex Foxen pushed all in for 525,000 on the button after he had to forfeit his small and big blind previously. Martini asked for a count and made the call.

Alex Foxen: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Julien Martini: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
