Kolonias Calls With Bottom Pair

Level 32 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Claas Segebrecht made it 800,000 to go with the {a-Clubs}{2-Spades} on the button and Alexandros Kolonias defended the {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to see a flop of {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, which both players checked. Kolonias paired up on the {3-Spades} turn and checked once more, then called a 500,000 bet by Segebrecht.

After the {5-Clubs} river, Kolonias checked and Segebrecht made it 1,500,000 to go. Kolonias gave it plenty of thought and even grabbed calling chips already but needed another half a minute before making the call with bottom pair to win the pot and recover some chips he had lost without showdown previously.
