Sievers and Hammerl Push Around Morra

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

A main pot of 5,900 and a bet and call for 6,500 were already on the side with the board showing {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Spades} and Roberto Morra made it 14,500 to go from under the gun. Nicolas Sievers on the button raised to 35,500 and Morra folded.

One hand later, Thomas Hammerl on the button raised and Morra three-bet to 7,000 in the big blind. Hammerl squeezed to 20,500 and Morra called. On the {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, Morra checked and called a bet for 15,100. Both checked the {8-Spades} turn and the {9-Spades} came on the river.

Morra reluctantly checked and then faced a bet of 29,500 by Hammerl, sending the Italian again in the think tank. As soon as he had folded, Hammerl revealed his {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks only.

"Wow, looks like I was at the kids table. You guys got some moves," Mathew Barreira in the one seat said as he was moved there from one table over not long ago.
