Madsen Looking for a Bounty

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} with around 10,000 in the middle, Menny Haim led out for 3,100 in early position. Jeff Madsen called on the button and the {6-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Haim fired out another bet of 5,600 only to have Madsen shove all in. Haim thought for a minute but decided to send his cards to the muck, denying Madsen a shot at his bounty chip.

Re-Entry for Ferguson

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Chris Ferguson lost all his chips in a hand that he called a middle position raise to 1,800 from the cutoff, and then he was the only caller after Lukasz Tomecki three-bet to 8,000 from the button.

The flop came {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Ferguson check-called Tomecki's shove.

Chris Ferguson: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Lukasz Tomecki: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The {3-Diamonds} on the turn and the {k-Spades} on the river didn't help Ferguson who went to the cashier for a re-entry.

Slobodskoy Calls Down Vieira

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and around 5,000 in the middle, the action was checked to Joao Vieira in early position. Vieira tossed in a bet of 6,300 and Naor Slobodskoy called from the big blind.

The river was the {j-Spades} and Slobodskoy checked again. Vieira splashed in a bet of 12,500 and Slobodskoy instantly called. Vieira showed {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a missed flush draw and Slobodskoy tabled {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} for the only pair.

Chalk Up Another for Loeser

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Yves Thalmann limped in from the cutoff and Manig Loeser was having none of it as he shoved all in from the big blind. Thalmann was sitting with a stack of around 20,000 and he mulled it over putting his stack at risk.

Manig Loeser: {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Yves Thalmann: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} and Loeser spiked a nine to take the lead. The {2-Hearts} on the turn nor the {a-Hearts} on the river could save Thalmann as Loeser picked up a bounty chip.

Tomasz Gluszko was unsure of the preflop action but once he was filled in he was still a little confused. "I thought you were a good player," he said to Loeser jokingly.

"You thought wrong," Loeser responded.

A Bounty for Ryczek

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Rafal Ryczek was in the cutoff and called his opponent's check-shove after a {3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop appeared on the table.

Ryczek had {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and his opponent was holding {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Turn and river didn't change anything and Ryczek won his opponent's bounty.

Kessler Forced to Re-Enter

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Three players saw a flop of {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} spread across the felt and the action checked to Allen Kessler on the button. Kessler bet 1,500 and was called by the big blind and Aviad Regev in middle position.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} and the action checked to Kessler again. He fired in a bet of 4,000 which the big blind called. Regev jammed all in for 16,500 and Kessler stuck in the last of his 15,200 as well. The big blind folded and the two remaining hands were tabled.

Regev showed {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a straight with a flush draw while Kessler held {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} for two pair. The river was the {7-Spades} and Kessler was eliminated at the hands of Regev.
