Kavouras Wins Flip and Doubles

Level 24 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Michail Kavouras opened to 55,000 under the gun and Ilker Shabani three-bet shoved from middle position. Everybody else folded and it went back to Kavouras who spent a lot of time in the tank. Eventually, Shabani called the clock on him and Kavouras called when there just two seconds left for him.

Michail Kavouras: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Ilker Shabani: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out safe for Kavouras with the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} and he doubled up, while he explained afterwards that he stalled because there were a payjump after just one elimination.

Daniel Salner opened to 65,000 in middle position and Miroslav Hurta just called from the big blind, leaving himself with 115,000 behind. The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Hurta moved all in. Salner asked for a count and then threw in a call.

Miroslav Hurta: {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Aleksandr Glinskii
Aleksandr Glinskii

The first player to bust after the dinner break was Aleksandr Glinskii, who pushed for around 100,000 on the button and was called by Walter Pflueger in the big blind.

Aleksandr Glinskii: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Walter Pflueger: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop gave Pflueger a flush draw on top while Glinskii had a gutshot. The {j-Clubs} turn improved Glinskii but Pflueger struck gold with the {10-Spades} river.

Frenn Slowplays Kings

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Nico Frenn was in the big blind and defended after Darkhan Rakhymzhanov's open from the cutoff to 60,000.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Frenn checked and Rakhymzhanov bet, to see a call by his opponent.

The turn was the {q-Spades} and Frenn checked again, while Rakhymzhanov bet 200,000 this time, getting another call by Frenn.

The {9-Spades} completed the board and both players checked, with Frenn opening {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} to take the pot as Rakhymzhanov mucked.

Kribben Fades a Flush Draw

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Volkan Cakar pushed all in for 565,000 in early position and Stephan Kribben re-shoved all in from the small blind. The big blind folded and the two hands were tabled.

Stephan Kribben: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Volkan Cakar: {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}

The flop of {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} paired Kribben's ten but Cakar picked up a flush draw. The {4-Clubs} on the turn gave Cakar a couple more outs but the {3-Spades} on the river bricked off.
