Palatzky Leaves Ribeiro Short

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Marc Palatzky won a big pot against Tomas Ribeiro to leave him with the shortest stack in the final table. Palatzky opened to 100,000 with {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Ribeiro looked him up with {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

The flop brought {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Palatzky bet 75,000 with Ribeiro making the check-call.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and Ribeiro led for 225,000, with Palatzky making the call.

The river was the {8-Hearts} giving a flush to both players, but Palatzky had the higher one. This time Ribeiro checked and Palatzky bet 375,000 getting a quick call from his opponent to rake a big pot.

Preflop Pot for Ribeiro

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Tomas Ribeiro, in the hijack position, decided to call with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{x-} and Ilyaz Dosikov saw {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} on the button and raised it to 150,000. It folded back to Ribeiro who tanked for a minute and three-bet to 525,000. It was enough to win the pot right away as Dosikov quickly folded.

Ribeiro Leaves Tsang with Crumbs

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Tomas Ribeiro raised with {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Spades} and Anson Tsang pushed all in from the small with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} with a slightly higher stack. Ribeiro called all-in.

Leonid Yanovski

All the chips went in the middle preflop between Marc Palatzky, on the button, and Leonid Yanovsky in the blinds, at risk for a remaining stack worth 600,000 to create the following showdown:

Leonid Yanovski: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Marc Palatzky: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The flop came {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, giving the full house to Palatzky, and the {2-Clubs} hit the turn, meaning Yanovski was drawing dead. The latter made his way to the cashier after the {j-Spades} completed the board.
