Glaser Doubles Through Hot

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 240,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

In a three-way pot to the {j-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, Benny Glaser checked and Dzmitry Urbanovich bet, Besim Hot raised on the button and Benny Glaser in the big blind made it three bets. Urbanovich folded and Hot checked the stack size of Glaser before making the call.

Glaser bet the {k-Diamonds} turn and was called before moving all in for 360,000 on the {j-Diamonds} river, Hot was priced in and called.

Glaser tabled {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for treys full of kings and scored the double, as Hot only had {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

The next pot in a battle of the blinds between Glaser and Daniel Negreanu also went to the former, who chipped up even further.

Negreanu Loses a Big One

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 240,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Three players headed to a flop of {j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked to Julien Martini on the button who tossed in a bet. Phil Hellmuth called in the big blind and Daniel Negreanu also came along.

The turn brought the {k-Clubs} and Hellmuth checked to Negreanu who made a bet this time. Martini called and Hellmuth stepped aside. The river was the {9-Clubs} and Negreanu bet once more. Martini went into the tank again, having to call off almost his entire stack. Martini eventually made the call and Negreanu showed {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} for two pair. Martini had {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a bigger two pair to scoop the pot.

Hot and Negreanu Chop Up Urbanovich

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 240,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Besim Hot limped first to act and Daniel Negreanu called on the button, as did Dzmitry Urbanovich in the small blind and Julien Martini in the big blind checked. The {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop was checked to Negreanu and he bet, Urbanovich and Hot were the only caller.

After the {k-Hearts} turn, Urbanovich bet and Hot raised, Negreanu called and Urbanovich reluctantly called. The {6-Spades} river was checked to Negreanu and he moved all in for 465,000, both opponents called.

Negreanu turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the nut low and busted straight and flush draw, Urbanovich had {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for top two pair and failed to get any portion of the pot as Hot tabled {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for top set.

Glaser More than Doubles Through Hellmuth

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 240,000 ante
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

Seven Card Stud

Phil Hellmuth completed and Benny Glaser raised on his left. The two players wasted little time before getting the chips in the middle with Glaser at risk for around 600,000.

Benny Glaser: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Phil Hellmuth: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Glaser started with aces that left Hellmuth in an uphill battle from the start. Glaser ran out a straight while Hellmuth couldn't even make a pair.

In the next hand, Hellmuth completed again and Glaser stuck in a raise. Hellmuth folded this time and Glaser claimed another pot.

No-Limit Hold'em

Phil Hellmuth bet a three-way turn of {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} for 425,000 and forced a fold from Daniel Negreanu and Besim Hot.

Negreanu then raised to 300,000 under the gun and Hot called on the button. They checked down the entire board of {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Negreanu showed {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, Hot had that beat with {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Julien Martini limped in and Hot did so, too. Hellmuth raised to 800,000 and that won the pot right there.

Hot Bluffs Off Glaser

Level 20 : 60,000/120,000, 180,000 ante

2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

Besim Hot raised it up from the hijack and Benny Glaser three-bet on the button. Hot called and then each player drew one card. Hot check-called a bet from Glaser and each player drew one more.

Hot checked again and Glaser fired another barrel. Hot check-raised this time and Glaser called. Hot stood pat and unleashed another bet before Glaser even decided how many to discard. Glaser opted for one card and then folded to the bet.

Hot showed Phil Hellmuth his cards beside him and apparently held {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{3-} for a straight. "Threw the wrong one," Hot claimed.

Julien Martini
Julien Martini

2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

Daniel Negreanu raised and Julien Martini three-bet, which Negreanu called. On the first draw, Negreanu took two and Martini one card. Martini bet and Negreanu called.

On the second draw, Negreanu discarded two cards and Martini took one. Martini bet and had 30,000 behind. Negreanu called and accidentally exposed his cards for a second, Martini pointed out he had chips behind and then stood pat while Negreanu took one.

Martini moved all in and Negreanu said "I will let you know" as he double-checked his last card and made the call.

Martini turned over {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for the nuts and Negreanu mucked {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}.
