Adams Increases Lead; Foxen and Schemion Missing
Level 11
: 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ole Schemion was eliminated by Christoph Vogelsang and the seat that formerly belonged to Alex Foxen is now occupied by Joao Vieira. According to Tobias Ziegler, Foxen had been all in for around 13 big blinds with pocket fives in the cutoff and Timothy Adams called with ace-queen to turn the nut straight.
Adams proceeded to win the next bigger pot on his table as well after taking on Adrian Mateos.
On the turn, Adams bet 1,050,000 in the big blind and Mateos called on the button. Adams then made it 2,400,000 to go after the river and that forced a fold from Mateos.
"Show one!" the Spaniard grinned, but his wish was denied by Adams, who raked in the pot with a big smile on the face.
