Tsang Takes an Overwhelming Lead

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Anson Tsang made it 210,000 to go with {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Ilya Bulychev defended the {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}. The flop of {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts} was checked through and the {9-Clubs} turn brought another check by Bulychev. A delayed continuation bet awarded the pot to Tsang and right after the WSOPE gold bracelet was placed in the middle of the live stream table.

Bulychev then raidsed the {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Tsang called with {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. On the {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, Tsang checked and Bulychev bet 260,000, the call of Tsang followed.

The {6-Hearts} came on the turn and Tsang checked, Bulychev asked for the size of the pot and bet 750,000 into a pot of 1 million.

Tsang clarified the bet and pot size with the dealer, double-checked his cards and raised the pot to put Bulychev the option to call all in or fold with around 1.6 million behind. It was not a quick fold by Bulychev, who took more than two minutes before letting go.

That hand vaulted Tsang into a commanding lead.
