Cormier Busts Badulescu; Doubles Delval

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Frederic Delval
Frederic Delval

There are only 15 players remaining after the elimination of Andrei Badulescu. The Romanian was all in from the big blind before the flop of {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Jeff Cormier bet to isolate. "Do you have an ace?" Cormier asked and Badulescu shook his head, then turned over {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. "I have to bet my hand," Cormier said and tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} to see the board complete with the {6-Spades} turn and {6-Hearts} river.

Right after, Cormier raised to 10,000 from under the gun and called the shove of Frederic Delval for 39,500 out of the big blind.

Frederic Delval: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Jeff Cormier: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

The board came {Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and the Frenchman doubled.
