Foxen Shoves Into Desset

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

While the players keep on busting rather quickly, some in the middle of the pack are fighting to make it through to Day 2 with an average stack. One of them is Alex Foxen, who also competes for vital points towards the Player of the Year race.

Foxen bet a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for 2,300 and Dominik Desset called on the button. After the {K-Diamonds} turn, Foxen made it 5,700 to go and Desset called before Foxen emptied the clip by jamming the {9-Clubs} river for 15,500. Desset was in the think tank for quite some time and Ivan Baric called the clock on him, which saw 30 seconds run down to zero without any decision.

Desset's cards were dead and Foxen chipped up before their table broke right after.
