Trouble for Fernandez

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Francisco Fernandez was moved tables early on and the new table is quite tough, including Sander van Wesemael and Josef Gulas. Fernandez' stack was quickly cut into half and he just limped from the button, the small blind filled up and van Wesemael in the big blind checked.

On the {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop, the action checked to the Spaniard and he bet 700. Only the small blind called and the duo checked through the {A-Spades} turn. After the {2-Diamonds} river, the small blind overbet the pot for 6,500 and Fernandez, who had barely more than that behind, gave it plenty of consideration before folding.
