Nilsen Busts One With Quads

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Scott Stewart, who finished 13th in the 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event for $535,000, opened to 700 and picked up no fewer than four callers including rex Clinkscales, Jorgen Nilsen in the cutoff, Fabrice Halleux on the button and the small blind. The big blind three-bet to 4,300 and the action folded back to Nilsen, who four-bet to 16,000. Halleux folded and the small blind did so, while the big blind moved all in for around 16,000 to create the following showdown.

Big Blind: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Jorgen Nilsen: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

"I had pocket fives," the small blind added and saw the flop of {K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts} appear right after. The {7-Hearts} turn however left Baer drawing dead and Nilsen even improved to quads with the case {7-Diamonds} on the river. "I think I deserved the quads," Nilsen added.
