Kamphues Scores an Early Double

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Three players invested 1,500 each to see a flop of {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Fabian Gumz in the small blind bet 1,700. Thomas Pettersson in early position called, as did Lars Kamphues on the button. After the {5-Clubs} turn, the Gumz made it 4,500 to go and that forced out Pettersson, while Kamphues called.

The {4-Hearts} river completed the board and Gumz was in the think tank. After some two minutes another player on the table called the clock and Kamphues was initially surprise and asked if it was on him, which wasn't the case. Gumz then moved all in soon after and Kamphues snap-called.

With a dry smile, Gumz rolled over {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Kamphues doubled for 8,475 with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a full house.
