The Paul Tedeschi, Roger Hairabedian match has been a slow affair and little room had grown between the two players, until now.
They played out a hand at a pretty quick hand just now until it slowed on the river.
Tedeschi raised to 9,000 pre flop and went on to bet 10,000, 24,000 and 45,000 on each street of a board.
Hairabedian quickly called down to the river and there he paused. He took five minutes to think, all the while chatting to his opponent in French, and then called.
Tedeschi smiled and flipped up for a straight. Hairabedian showed and seemed to lament the hand.
With only one match remaining in play from the round of sixteen, the other winners are gearing up to play their matches for the round of eight. Once a victor is decided from the Paul Tedeschi vs. Roger Hairabedian match, the round of sixteen will officially come to a close.
The three matches that are set for the round of eight will take place today at either 5:00 or 5:30 local time and will play simultaneously with the Tedeschi vs. Hairabedian match.

Today is a rather easy day at the 2012 World Series of Poker Europe, which means it's a great night to have the WSOP Europe party.
Kicking off at 10:00 PM local time, and located across the street from the Majestic Barrière Hotel, the venue will be the Majestic Beach Club. It's the same place the party was hosted last year, but this year things are planned to be bigger and better.
Representatives at the WSOP have informed us that the end of the dock will be converted into a huge stage for a DJ. There will also be an increased number of champagne bottles on hand for everyone to get their drink on. Entry will be free to Main Event entrants, but everyone is welcome. One thing is for sure, you won't want to miss it if you're in the area, so come on down!
