Sklenicka Builds Stack

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Scott Stewart raised to 320,000, and Alexandre Reard called, as did Scott Blumstein in the big blind. On the {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop, the action checked to Stewart, and his bet of 510,000 won the pot.

Then, Michael Sklenicka raised to 335,000 from under the gun. Valentin Messina called on the button, and Daniel Turner defended the big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and again, the initial raiser took down the pot with a continuation bet, this time for 500,000.

Stewart raised the next hand to 320,000 from under the gun, and Sklenicka defended the big blind. There was no betting action on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} board, and Sklenicka won the pot with {Q-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of fours.

The Czech also won the next limped pot against Stewart without any post-flop action.

Then, Jonas Mackoff claimed the blinds and antes by moving all in from under the gun.

A raise to 350,000 by Turner secured him the next pot, and Mackoff forfeited his big blind to drop to just over one million in chips.
