Heidi May Sends One Home

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

After an early-position raise to 450 and a call, the cutoff called and Heidi May raised to 2,700 in the small blind. The big blind folded, the initial raiser folded, and the first caller folded. The cutoff thought for about a minute and moved all in for around 9,000. May called and had her opponent slightly covered.

May: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
All-in player: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop gave May a pair of aces to take the lead, and the {6-Spades} turn and the {J-Diamonds} river were safe for her. She eliminated her opponent and collected the pot. May is now up to four times the starting stack.

Kristen Bicknell Doubles Up

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

It will be interesting to see how this last-longer bet between Kristen Bicknell and Kitty Kuo unfolds today. Bicknell registered a bit later and will be trying to overtake Kuo in the chip-count leaderboard. And we learned via Twitter that she doubled up. We asked her for the details.

The player in the under-the-gun position raised, the player in the cutoff called. Bicknell called from the small blind.

The flop came {3-}{4-}{6-} (rainbow), Bicknell checked, the under-the-gun player bet 700, the cutoff player called, Bicknell raised to 2,100. The under-the-gun player folded and the player in the cutoff called.

The turn was the {9-}, Bicknell shoved all in for about 2,900, her opponent called.

Cutoff: {4-}{5-}
Kristen Bicknell: {3-}{3-}

The river completed the board with a {10-} and Bicknell doubled up.

Amber Chatwin Doubles Through Kitty Kuo

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

Kitty Kuo raised to 500 in middle position and Amber Chatwin went all in for 1,675 on the button.

Kuo's immediate reaction to the shove was "Shit."

Players at the table laughed. The player in the small blind thought for a little while and folded, and so did the big blind. Kuo called and Chatwin was at risk.

Chatwin: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Kuo: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} {2-Spades} {7-Diamonds} and Chatwin doubled up with aces and kings.
